NPC Incorporated was founded in 1992 for the purpose of production and sale of vacuum packing machines. In 1994, we developed the Module Laminator, one of our key products in the photovoltaic module manufacturing process, entering into the photovoltaic market. Since then, by challenging to develop other new technologies to meet the customers' needs in the photovoltaic market, we released a series of new machines including the Cell Tester, Tabbing and Stringing Machine, Module Tester and other peripherals to the market, providing a complete lineup for manufacturing photovoltaic modules. Also, we have expanded our business worldwide, by further enhancing our customer service network. Due to these efforts, we have gained a high reputation among our customers in the photovoltaic market, leading us to obtain No.1 world market share.

In recent years, concern about environmental issues has been increasing worldwide and it is becoming more important for companies to proactively address the relevant environmental issues. We, as the global leading company in the module manufacturing equipment market, contribute to further diffusion of photovoltaic systems. On the other hand, we strive to open up new markets which contribute to the protection of environment, such as manufacturing equipment for vacuum insulation panels, an eco-related material which is under the spot light for its high heat insulation capability. Through these activities, we continuously contribute to reduce the global environmental load. In this fiscal year, we started up new businesses, contract assembly service of photovoltaic modules by developing our experiences and know-how from our original photovoltaic business, and production and sale of automation systems by enhancing product lineup in new fields with our accumulated technologies.
