Photovoltaic Module Manufacturing Equipment

We provide all the equipment required for photovoltaic module manufacturing processes. So far we have shipped equipment to more than 50 countries.

We have been developing technologies such as adapting to new materials or advanced module structures for higher efficiency, improvement of throughput, and laminators for large modules. We propose the best equipment or assembly line according to each customer's needs. We also support customers acquiring various certificates at the start-up of module assembly lines.

Cell Tester

Cell Tester

This equipment is used in the initial stage of photovoltaic module manufacturing.

It measures each photovoltaic cell's output and physical properties by irradiating artificial sunlight, and classifies it according to the results of measurement.

Our Cell Tester has measuring and analyzing softwares, developed in-house based on experiences and know-how accumulated for many years. While the main devices of our Cell Tester allow highly accurate measurements, our softwares and cell-handling technology lead to high processing and production capacities.

We have been always working to develop new Cell Testers with the latest technology in a timely manner, handling new types of cells whenever they appear on the market.

Tabbing & Stringing Machine

Tabbing & Stringing Machine

Tabbing & Stringing Machines series-connect cells by welding wirings onto cells to form "strings."

We have been providing the Tabbing & Stringing Machines ever since the photovoltaic industry started mass production of photovoltaic modules in 1990s. Up until now, we have adapted to thinner cells, improved efficiency, and higher throughput as well as accumulating knowhow and expertise for a long time. We will focus on development of new technology to provide high quality equipment that can satisfy our customers in the future as well.

This equipment alternately supplies strings on stacked tempered glass and EVA. In the following process, strings are wired to form matrices.

Various designs are available from partial to full-automation depending on customers' needs.

Module Laminator

Module Laminator

This equipment laminates photovoltaic modules.

The equipment encapsulates modules by pressing all of the materials; matrices, EVA and back sheet stacked on tempered glass, in a vacuumed and heated condition.

One of the critical functions in this equipment is our original supporting device pin, which realizes manufacturing high-quality modules by uniform heating. This function has been highly evaluated by our customers worldwide.

In addition, our module laminator has superiority in its highly uniform temperature distribution even under the vacuumed condition, by completely sealing the heating elements in the vacuum chamber and finely controlling the temperature on the heat plate.

This equipment is used in the final process of photovoltaic module manufacturing.

It measures each module's output and physical properties by irradiating aritificial sunlight, and classifies them according to the results of measurement.

Full-automated module handling is also available to meet the needs of customers.

Laser Inspection Machine

Laser Inspection Machine

The equipment detects cracks in the cells/strings/modules by irradiating laser beam. This inspection method is effective in objectively proving the long-term reliability of the photovoltaic systems, and detects cracks with higher accuracy and provides clearer images by visualizing only the cracked areas compared to the conventional inspection methods. The automatic inspection is also available, reducing man-power for visual inspection and preventing any misjudgments caused by human errors. Furthermore, it prevents incorrect assessment of non-defective products as defective, raising the yield of the production process. It also eliminates the possibility of shipping defective products, raising the quality reliability of the final products.

SEMI adopted this method as "SEMI PV60-0115 - Test Method for Measurement of Cracks in Photovoltaic (PV) Silicon Wafers in PV Modules by Laser Scanning" in January, 2015. We provide laser inspection machines for cells, strings, and modules.
